Southern Manatee Fire Rescue District uses the FireTEAM Test and Candidate Physical Abilities Test (CPAT) for the entry-level Firefighter/EMT or Firefighter/Paramedic position through National Testing Network, Inc.

NTN will provide a list of candidates who successfully meet the criteria set forth by Southern Manatee Fire Rescue District upon completion of the FireTEAM and CPAT testing. Southern Manatee Fire Rescue District will contact the top 50 candidates on the list and will invite them to continue in the next phase of the hiring process. This includes fire and emergency medical service skill assessments and interviews.
